Fractional CTO. Founder, Dive.

I help companies fix the technology that's slowing them down.

I run short, structured reviews of your software, data, and systems to find what’s costing you time and money. Then I help fix what’s worth fixing. Less waste, faster work, lower cost.

WHAT I DO

Two ways I help.

Audits

Every job starts the same way. I spend two to three weeks learning how your technology really works, then give you a clear, ranked list of what to fix first. I only do more work in terms of fixing your IT issues if it will clearly help increase revenue and/or reduce your expenses. Three kinds:

Find hidden savings

I find where your money and time are quietly leaking out across your systems, tools, team, and setup. Most clients see a 10 to 30 percent improvement.

Check your security

Where you’re exposed, what to fix, and what gaps to close before an outside auditor or a customer finds them. Helpful for SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI.

Get ready to grow

For when what you built to get here won’t get you to the next stage. Rebuilding for growth, getting your team using AI well, covering a leadership gap, or merging two companies’ systems after a deal.

Dive

Clear, reliable reporting on your business, without hiring a data team. My team builds and runs it for you for a flat monthly fee. So you can finally see what’s working, cut what isn’t, and make decisions with confidence.

Already trusted by companies whose platforms serve more than 100 million people.

THE HIDDEN MARGIN FRAMEWORK

Where money quietly gets stuck.

Most companies don’t have a sales problem. They have money and speed trapped inside their technology, locked up by old decisions that made sense at the time but were never looked at again. I check all four places at once, because most companies fix one and leave the other three leaking.

01

Your servers

What you pay to run everything in the cloud

02

Your tools

The pile of software you pay for but barely use

03

Your team

People aimed at the wrong work, or more than the work needs

04

Your setup

Old technical choices that make everything slower and pricier

Most clients see a 10 to 30 percent improvement within 90 days. Subtraction, not reinvention.

WRITING

ABOUT

I’ve spent 25 years building and running technology teams. I co-founded a company that sold for $90M, then ran the technology side of another that was bought in a $4.4 billion deal. Along the way I built systems used by more than 100 million people a month and led teams in four countries. Today I run Dive and take on a small number of clients at a time as a fractional CTO. What I’m best at is simple to say: I walk into messy, slow, or costly technology, see clearly what a non-technical founder can’t, and make it work the way it should.

GET IN TOUCH

What is slowing you down?

If your product is already live and things feel slower, riskier, or more expensive than they should, that’s usually fixable. The first call is short and free, and you’ll leave with at least one useful idea even if we never work together.

Faster path: book a 20-minute call
